Meet Owner and Bra Fitter, Kate Torrey. Bra Haus has been a dream of hers for many years and she is ready to bring her industry expertise and love of bra fitting to the Low Country.
Growing up in Buffalo, NY, Kate, her Husband and two boys relocated to Summerville, SC to get away from the cold and flexible careers helped them do so.
Kate spent 8 years as a bra fitter/ Manager for a locally owned swimwear and intimate apparel store in Western New York. During her time in the Intimate Apparel industry, she held various roles from Bra fitter, Manager and Buyer.
Although Kate has been out of the industry for a few years, she has always kept a finger on the pulse, understanding the changes across the Intimate Apparel landscape and the ever-changing wants and needs of customers over the years.
Kate has always had a passion for retail and customer service and thought she would always be a part of the retail space until her career paved a path into technology. For the past 11 years, Kate has worked with teams of dedicated professionals to deliver innovative products to the retail and restaurant markets in both hardware and software offerings. Coming from the retail space, Kate has developed a deep understanding of the needs and challenges merchants face today and what it takes to deliver value to her customers.
